Madam Peggy Adamafio has done it, again. Knowing water is critical in the preparation of the Ga festal meal, Kpekple with Palmnut soup, and for cleaning up, the US-Based Senior Nurse and Founder of Relief and Aid International, is currently serving Ga Mashie with 26 water tankers as Homowo festival is marked today.

Out of the 26 tankers, 16 are stationed in Ga Mashie proper to provide free water to the seven divisional areas and their outskirts: Gbese, Abola, Ngleshie Alata, Sempe, Akangmajen, Asere, Otublohum, Arena, Korle Workon, and Amamomo.

The remaining 10 tankers are serving Chorkor and Korle Gonno. This is unprecedented and timely considering that the area has in recent past been experiencing water scarcity.
